Azulejo Painting Experience

If you have ever wandered Lisbon and stopped to admire the azulejo tiles on a palace wall or a sunlit facade, this is your chance to step into that tradition and make something of your own. We run two formats, in two different neighbourhoods, for different rhythms of the day.

No experience needed.
All materials provided.

Duration: 1,5 to 2 hours
Time: from 12:00 to 14:30

A focused single-tile session in different locations in the middle of the day. Events usually happen in a welcoming neighbourhood bar or cafe with food and drinks available during and after the workshop. A welcome drink is included and depends on the location and menu. Groups are up to 10 people.

If you want to paint more than one tile you can always get one more for 10 EUR

Duration: 1,5 to 3 hours

On a private group sessions we can paint one or two tiles per person, or even a small panel if working all together. Each session opens with a short introduction to the craft, then moves into guided painting. You can bring your own design or choose from available. Tiles are fired after the session and ready for collection within a few days. Suited to birthdays, team gatherings, and small private groups, at one of our venues in Lisbon or a location of your own. Our venues

Thank You Mama Café, in Anjos, close to Graça, Mouraria, and Intendente, known for its specialty coffee. Evening time, the room could be reserved for us from 17:30 to 20:30

Lova, in São Bento, a cosy coffee and flower shop in the historic heart of the city. 9:00-18:00

E'cru kitchen and bar daytime classes

Duration: 1,5 to 2 hours
Time: from 12:00 to 14:00, arrive by 13:00 at the latest, earlier if you want more time to explore your design.

A focused single-tile session in a relaxed bar setting in the middle of the day. E'cru is a welcoming neighbourhood bar with food and drinks available during and after the workshop, making it a natural stop before exploring Príncipe Real, Chiado, or Bairro Alto.
